She does it again.

This video is honestly one of the weirdest things I have ever seen.

I wouldn't expect any less from Gaga though. Anyone see her on Gossip Girl this week? She was bomb.

What is going on?!

I have had CONSTANT static electricity hair for the last 24-48 hours. It is driving me absolutely bonkers. I deep condition my hair. I use a leave-in conditioner. I use hairspray. HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS?

Please don't tell me to rub my head with a dryer sheet. That is just weird.

Let the spoiling begin.

I officially became an aunt this morning!!

Ella Ann Fajen arrived at 6:02am after 5 short hours of labor. Eliza is a MAJOR trooper. Ella came so fast there was no time for a epidural so she went au naturale!!! She is 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. She has a very cute chubby face and a little bit of hair. I am so happy for Jonathan and Eliza, they are going to make fantastic parents. I won't get to meet Ella until Christmas but I am soooo excited!!!

Congrats Jonathan & Eliza!

What a letdown.

Jake Pavelka, the lame and overly-emotional pilot from the last season of The Bachelorette is the new Bachelor. Gross gross gross. He will likely cry through the whole season.

This article from EW.com is hilarious...and right on point. I don't think I will be watching this season, so thanks ABC for giving me 2 hours of my life back every week!

Doughnut Day!

I successfully made homemade doughnuts last weekend...I still can't believe it. I was kinda nervous because this was my first time working with yeast and I have heard that making GOOD homemade doughnuts is a difficult task.

I read through the recipe and felt confident that I could tackle it. I got to the part where I had to mix the yeast in with warm water. I did it twice...and it was just turning into a nasty, clay-like mess. I recruited some help from my roommate and we nailed it!

The only other issue I had was that the recipe called for 23 ounces of flour. I don't know about you, but I don't typically measure my flour in OUNCES. When I finally got all of the ingredients into the bowl, my dough was anything but dough. So, I just kept adding more flour hoping that dough would begin to pull away from the bowl as it got mixed. Approximately 4 cups later...it finally turned to dough. I feel quite confident that I wasn't 4 cups off in my measurements so I have no clue what happened!! Regardless, they turned out wonderfully! I rolled some in powdered sugar and some in cinnamon sugar. YUM!

Thank you to my friend Natalie for idea and the recipe! Now that I have conquered the doughnut recipe, I'm definitely going to make them again...except next time I think I'll try the chocolate glaze. :)
